Tatum Lead ORV Trail

Tatum Lead ORV trail

Both ends of trail are on private property. No unlicensed vehicles first 2 miles across R-O-W. Tatum Lead connects to Rock Creek ORV Trail, however, Rock Creek Trail is suitable for 4-wheelers and ATVs only and has a width restriction of 50 inches. As of April 10th 20118 Rock Creek Trail is currently closed due to a mudslide on the county road leading to the trailhead. To check status go to the Foresty Service website.

Approximate hike length: 7 miles.

Trail from Chatsworth

Trail begins 2.5 miles south of Tatum Lead Road and GA 52 (10 miles east of Chatsworth, .95 mile past Cohutta Lodge). Cross this 2.5 miles of private property in vehicle, and park on marked portion of trail. The trail dead-ends with no outlet.
