The Gurley Creek falls drops 220 ft., a beautiful two-stage waterfall. while Joel Creek waterfall cascades 150 feet and is just a short walk from an old stone dam that retains a small, clear pond; a perfect place to relax, reflect, and enjoy nature. Paths from long ago wander about the Retreat and into the forest. Follow one of the old logging trails (approx. 1.5 miles ) right up Clay Gap, to the Appalachian Trail which is just above Enota Mountain Retreat Center and Sanctuary.
Drop by the beautiful old restored Lodge and share the warmth from the huge stone fireplace and relaxed atmosphere created by living so close to nature.
